Patients are asked to ring for a doctor's appointment on the day they wish to be seen. If the doctor of your choice is fully booked or unavailable, you will be offered an alternative. Some appointments are bookable in advance, up to two weeks ahead. All appointments for the nurses, midwife and the asthma and diabetes clinics are bookable in advance. You will always be seen in an emergency.

Medical problems can often take longer than the time allotted for one appointment. At times, therefore, your doctor or nurse may be running late (if so, it is because a problem has required more time than usual to be dealt with properly). Please be patient – next time it could be you!
