Patients are asked to ring for a doctor's appointment on the day they wish to be seen. If the doctor of your choice is fully booked or unavailable, you will be offered an alternative. Some appointments are bookable in advance, up to two weeks ahead. All appointments for the practice nurses, midwife and the asthma and diabetes clinics are bookable in advance. You will always be seen in an emergency.

Medical problems can often take longer than the time allotted for one appointment. At times, therefore, your doctor or nurse may be running late (if so, it is because a problem has required more time than usual to be dealt with properly). Please be patient – next time it could be you!

Home visiting is reserved for patients who are bed-bound by illness. If you wish to seek advice regarding home visiting, please phone before 10.30am, if possible. Our nurse practitioner will assess your condition and advise accordingly. During the day the practice covers emergency calls. At night and at weekends, we retain commitment to you through the local GP co-operative, Thamesdoc.

Remember, your doctor can see six or more patients at the surgery in the time taken up by one visit.

Health Visitors – 020 8974 8237
District Nurses – 020 8546 3789
Please note that it is not possible to transfer a call between these numbers.

Our premises are designed to allow easy wheelchair access to all surgeries and treatment rooms. We also have a specially equipped toilet for disabled patients at the Churchill Medical Centre.

In line with modern practice, we place an emphasis on preventative medicine, high quality management of long term conditions, good access and encouragement of self care and on delivering a service sensitive your personal choices whenever possible.
