Clinics & Services
Antenatal care
The practice provides joint antenatal care alongside the community midwives. Our community midwives are based at Kingston Hospital. They can be contacted directly on 020 8934 2626.
Asthma
To minimise the risk of complications of asthma, it is advisable to have regular reviews. You will either need to be seen by Kate or complete our online questionnaire to see if you need to come in.
Blood Tests
For most blood tests you do not need to do anything specific prior to coming in.
Cervical Screening
Our nursing team carries out cervical screening.
Childhood Immunisations
Our practice nurses carry out these appointments and will be happy to discuss your child’s vaccines with you. If you have any questions or concerns, they will be happy to talk to you about this.
New babies - You need to book an eight week check for your baby with Kate or Jan, where they will carry out a physical examination similar to that which is undertaken within 24 hours of birth. They will then be able to give the first set of immunisations at the same appointment.
You can find the full childhood immunisation schedule and more information about each vaccine here:
COPD
To minimise the risks of COPD it is advisable to have regular reviews.
Diabetes
The practice has two nurses who care for patients with diabetes, Jo and Jan.
Ear Wax & Ear Irrigation
Never try to clean the ear canal with cotton buds, hair grips, pens etc. as this can only make the problem worse. The wax can be pushed further into the ear canal making it very difficult to remove. It may also cause an ear infection.
Hearing Tests
We are able to offer hearing tests for patients if you have concerns about your hearing. These are booked in the afternoons at the Kingston branch.
Minor Operations & Joint Injections
The practice runs a monthly minor surgery clinic. These appointments are only available via internal referral from one of our GPs. If your condition is not suitable to for minor surgery in the practice, you will be referred to a local minor surgery clinic.
Dr Naseef is able to do joint injections. These are 20 minute appointments and are only available once you have been assessed by a GP at the practice as requiring a joint injection.
When you have a joint injection you will need to rest the injected joint for a week afterwards. Returning to heavy manual work, or long distance driving, immediately afterwards impedes the improvement the injection can offer.
