Our Senior Pharmacy Technician, Natasha, has nearly 18 years of experience working in pharmacy. Her career started in commnunity pharmacy as a Sales assistant working on weekends then progressed into a healthcare assistant in which she trained for 6 months. Further to that, then trained for another 6 months to become a dispenser. Having stayed in community for 9 years, she later then moved onto working in a Hospital Oupatients pharmacy department in the Royal Marsden and trained to do her Pharmacy Technician course. The Pharmacy technician course is an NVQ and it takes 2 years to complete.
After 5 years at The Royal Marsden, Natasha then came to work at Churchill Medical Centre and has been working here for 3 and a half years, becoming the Senior Pharmacy technician in July 2022. As a pharmacy technician, advice is given on over the counter medications for minor ailments such as cough, colds, allergies etc. As well as, most medication queries such as side effects and interactions with medications.
