World Mental Health Day – 10 October 2025

This year’s theme: 'access to services - mental health in catastrophes and emergencies'.

The theme highlights the importance of people being able to protect their mental health in times of global instability.

World Mental Health Day is a time to raise awareness, promote understanding, and take action to support mental wellbeing for everyone. It is an important day when we can all take time to think about our own mental health, and how we look after it. We can also take a moment to think about those around us, and how we can support them when they’re struggling.

At The Churchill Medical Centre we always make sure that our staff take a moment in the day to check in with themselves and others, friends, family, and colleagues. Demonstrating small acts of kindness, listening to others, and showing understanding and compassion can make a real difference.

If you’re struggling or know someone who is, please remember you are not alone. Support is available:

Talking is vital, it can make a difference and we want everyone to know that support is available, and they are not alone.

It’s okay not to be okay and it’s okay to ask for help.
